JARAS is the first program of its kind that aims at helping Arabic speaking hearing impaired children. It provides both parents and professionals with the activities needed to develop auditory skills of children with hearing impairment. The Kit includes activity sheets and picture cards that aims to develop and reinforce the following auditory skills: Sound Detection, Sound Localization, Sound Duration, Sound Intensity, Pitch, Stress, Intonational Patterns, Speech Sound Discrimination, Following Directions, Identification based on description, Responding in a conversation, topic Discussion, and Speech Tracking.
