JISH, in collaboration with Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Riyadh, organized the Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) Certification Course, presented by specialists from SAS Swallowing Company in Nashville, USA. Course aimed at training speech language pathologist on practical methods to perform the swallowing assessment on patients using advanced diagnosis equipment. The FEES advanced course took place in Riyadh from 10-12 October, and basic course held in Jeddah on 14-15 October at JISH, and advanced one held on 16-17 October at Dar Al-Hekma University. More than 100 therapists from Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries attended this training. Vision Medical Company and Al Jeel Medical company sponsored the event and provided equipment and technical support during the training. Also, Pan Arabia Medical establishment provided disinfectant materials during the training duration.
