JISH Signs Memorandum of Understanding with King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah

Jeddah, October 23 — The Jeddah Institute for Speech and Hearing (JISH) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Abdulaziz University, represented by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

The MoU was signed on Thursday, 1 Jumada al-Awwal, by Dr. Nahla Dashash, Director of Clinical Services at JISH, and Prof. Zeini bin Talal Al-Hazmi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, representing the university.

This collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in key areas including scientific research, the development of therapeutic programs and diagnostic tools, and community outreach initiatives. Joint activities will include public awareness campaigns, workshops for parents of children with special needs, training sessions, and educational seminars.

The agreement also emphasizes student engagement through practical training and encourages joint efforts in specialized professional development and rehabilitation programs.

This partnership reflects JISH’s ongoing commitment to advancing research, education, and clinical excellence in speech, hearing, and behavioral sciences — contributing to a more inclusive and empowered community.
